read online or read a book ,which one is your choice?

I usually prefer reading from a book or magazine. It puts less strain on my eyes, and is sometimes easier to read. However, if i'm doing research, i like reading online, since you can find certain key phrases within the text without reading the whole thing.

Hi. If I need a quick information, for sure I prefer reading online. If I want to read a story, a long tutorial or something that interest me I will choose to read a book or a magazine, that's faster and comfortable.

It is not good to read a lot of material from a computer screen,because it will definitely affect your eyes.I love books and I know that nothing can ever replace them.That is why I buy so many books.I also like the smell of the book,old books have their own smell,and new ones have their own smell.I like both.I am never more excited or interested than I am when reading a book.To put it plainly,I simply love books.!!!!!LOL!!!!

I don't like to read online. For some of my college courses, most of our readings are online and I really don't like that. I would rather have the book in front of me, so I can read it like that. It hurts my eyes to stare at the computer screen, and it is a lot harder for me to focus in on what I'm reading, and really concentrate and understand what I am supposed to be learning.

yes ,I agree with you.Reading book on line is very uncomfortable especially reading for a long time. The smell of the book? oh,right! I like the particular smell of book as well.

that would be a book for me. i don't like reading from my computer screen, even these are just research notes. much more a book! The glare is too much! my astigmatic eyes can't stand the eyestrain. and i love to collect books, too. they look good on the stand. :-)

I like to read, either way. I like to read on the computer, for the variety. I like to read books, to take up a day, or some time. I can get cozy and comfortable with a book, but not on the computer.

ive always loved books. so my preference is to have an actual book in my hands. i will read short things on the computer but they have to be pretty short, say..no longer than 5 or 6 paragraphs. if i try to read something as long as a short story i end up with a bad headache.

Hello cici6880!(",) If its a novel then of course I'd rather read it as a book than reading it online. If it's an assignment in school I prefer books because it can give me the exact information that I would like to obtain. There are times when I'm running out of time and need fast information then I'd prefer searching on the net. I love books!(",)

Yeah, i agree you, i like reading books instead of reading online. Reading a book is very convinient.
