I don't know about you but i am tired of seeing the same "look" on TV and on Movies. It's getting very boring :O
Most people do not look like the common blue eyed, long legged blond girl we see on every 2nd TV show and Movie. I wish they would spice it up and MIX it up. Has any body seen the movie "HAIRSPRAY"? I thought it was great to see an average girl like Nikki Blonsky in a leading role. I thought she looked beautiful :)

My friend and I were talking about this the other week when we saw Transformers. The girl, though still the cookie cutter chick, was at least a brunette rather than the typical blonde haired blue eyed skinny girl. I think it's funny because I am a blonde haired/blue-gray eyed girl...but I've always dyed my hair darker because I hated the blonde. i always wonder if my life...my teenage years...would have been different had I decided to retain my natural hair and be the blonde haired blue eyed girl everyone seems to love.
As for Hairspray...See the original.

I'm from Baltimore, Maryland where the original was made. John Waters, who created the original is a brilliant man. His older movies are a bit sick to some, Hairspray doesn't have too much bad stuff. John Waters liked the odd and the larger people. Devine, who was the original Mrs. Turnblad was a man who always did roles as women. Ricki Lake, who is the original Tracy Turnblad was loved by John Waters due to her Largeness. Not to mention, John Waters was born and Raised in Baltimore Maryland and has filmed every single one of his films here. The new version of Hairspray was filmed in Canada, not Baltimore...simply because it's cheaper to film it in Canada. There's nothing better than an original.

Well, i would have to agree with you here.
And i have seen the movie Hairspray and yeah i liked it also, i find it cool and musical is really nice.
And about Nikki Blonsky, she is really beautiful girl and very nice.
I like the way she laugh hehe and the way she shakes that booty. hehe
And also, i was amazed by John Travolta when he transformed into a lady as the Mother of Nikki in the Movie Hairsray. LOL
