You can withdraw it to your bank account which only takes a few days, I usually do that but the debit card that has been suggested sounds good. Some countries can't but you can as you are in US. But you can spend it on ebay as well.

if you have it linked to a bank account you csn transfer it right into there, just takes a couple days

Why not get the debit card from Paypal. You can use it anywhere just like any other bank card. It doesn't cost anything to apply for one and it can be used like a visa credit card. They even pay you every time you use it. It's much safer than carrying cash.

I transfer the money from my pay-pal account into my checking account all the time. It is easy to do. Just go to your pay-pal account and follow the instructions.I usually buy groceries with my on-line earnings.
