What a day! Is it no wonder, I'm losing my mind?

First thing, this morning, I almost fall into the cistern, and bruise my arm all to heck, and hurt my foot. That's bad enough, but then, it gets worse. My husband has had a job, less than 2 months, and quits! Well, I was expecting it, after all, he never keeps one for very long. But, I was hoping he could at least, keep it for 6 months. I am so disgusted. Here we go again! Why me, LOrd?

Oh beinda That has to be so discouraging. When I was frist married to my ex he was quiting his job and we would have to move ever 3 months he was a farm worker. It really was discouraging not being ablr to depend on haveing a place to live ever 3 to 4 months. He was such a child. I finally got rid of him after 14 years. I soon figured that if I had to raise my 4 kids by myself it was worth not haveing a fife one around.

I know what you mean. My kids are all grown. That is, except for him. I've pretty much given up hope for him.

Has He ever kept a job for very long? Are you supporting him?

The longest he's ever kept a job, was a year and a half. It was only part time. Yes, I support him. I pay all the household bills, and buy all the groceries. I refuse to pay his truck payment, but I pay the car insurance. I would like to kick him out, but I can't, unless I file for divorce, and can't afford that right now, if I ever get the money, though, he's out of here. I've had it with his useless assss.

Your husband's behaviour must surely drive you demented?? I'm having an ok day. The wind is not howling, thank goodness. The goat and the cat have been sitting together outside in the sunshine. (It's the first time I've seen Pickles sit down with Banjo, he's usually trying to make him play and Banjo has to run away.) I took photos but not sure how they worked. I have a lovely bruise where Pickles got me yesterday with one of his horns...he even broke the skin through my track pants. Come and stay with me for a while...we'll have lots of laughs...life isn't meant to be dreary with an irresponsible hubby goofing off in the background. :).

I bet we could have alot of laughs. I would love to come and stay with you, but do you have room for all my cats and dogs? lol My poor little Blondie was killed today, by my mother in law. I feel like I have so many more bad things happen, than good. The 2 of them, have almost run me insane. By the way, I requested you as friend on yuwie. If you get a chance, will you accept me? Take care.

I read about what your M_I_L did and I would love to run her over. What a heartless piece of work she is. The both of them are a waste of space. I so feel for you. I haven't been to Yuwie for a while now. I really prefer it here and I don't have the time to go there as well...so I'm not rejecting you. This is a picture of two of my lovelies although Banjo is in the bd books because he caught a bird today. The bird eventually got away and seemed ok but Banjo is sulking now.

Bummer! What happened to my photo. I spent time making it smaller so it would fit her for sure. Come to think of it I haven't seen photos in comments for a while, could be wrong of course. Oh well, back to the drawing board.

Sounds like you've had a rough day. As bad as it was though it could of been worse. You may have actually fallen into the cistern and had to have the fire department rescue you. Now that would have been horrible. Look at it this way...tommorrow has to be better. :) **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

Oh boy, that's bad. Job's are hard to find, at least here in Michigan. Why did he quit? The fact that you expected it is awful. That puts a lot of stress on you I would imagine. I hope your arm and foot heal quickly! Where did you come across a cistern?

Jobs are hard to find, in Ohio too. But they're not hard for him to give up. He's like a big kid. We live in the country, and the cistern is where we get water from.

OMG, that is awful Brenda, I am so sorry to hear of your husband quitting his job, how long does it take for him to get back to work when he does this, I used to be married to one, quit every job he had in 2 weeks, one time I was so proud of him he went a whole month, but it would always take him a good 2 weeks before he would even start looking for work and with 2 small babies in our house at that time I was forever worrrying how the bills were going to be paid. Hugs to you, my friend!

Mine never gets in to any hurry about looking for a job. I have worked and paid all the bills for the majority of the 33 years we've been together. He works, anywhere form a month, to every now and then, a year, then quits and goes without a job for anywhere from, usually 3 months to 6 months, sometimes more. He will do just enough odd jobs, to pay his truck payment, every now and then, just before repo time. lol He's sukking the life out of me, more every minute.

Well hon, as for the falling and hurting yourself part, you can join the club with me, Feona, and Gabs. What a team we'd make! LOL I hope your arm and foot get to feeling better. As for your husband, I'd say give him a good swift kick but then you'd end up hurting your foot and that wouldn't be good. I honestly don't know what to tell you about him hon. My ex was the same way, and it made it very uncomfortable at home because he was always a grouch. Notice I said "EX"? Good luck hon. Big hugs to you sweetie.

Well it is written that the lord will not give us more than we can handle, but like you I have had my days all right. I do feel for you because it is hard being with a man who doesn't hold a job and the older we get the worse it gets. You're in my prayers. Prayer has really helped me this past year with all my health issues and myLot is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I have good friends here. Take care.

I agree, mylot is a wionderful place. I enjoy talking to people here, so much. It's where I do most of my venting. He's drinking again, tonight, and we got in to an argument, because his mom ran over another one of my cats. I know he probably won't say anything to her about it, I jsut get so mad. They never admit being wrong, or doing wrong, and it's rare for him to apologize, and I've never heard her apologize in the 33 years that I've known her. I'm just sick with this.

I kind of know what you mean.I had a MRI scan.I have a torn tendon in my right arm, arthritis in my shoudlers and back.I have thinning bone mass.I sometimes wonder. I keep on going, they found a spot on one lung,a cyst on one kidney.Went to the doctor yesterday and he found a cyst on my right wrist. What next?Only the Lord does know and he will take care of it all.

Yes, we all have bad days, but I think I just have a bad life. I feel like I've made more bad decisions, than good ones, over the years. I think that's why I'm cursed with a husband that can't hold a job. He's been allowed to be a loser, because I've allowed him to be. Thanks for the hug. I can sure use some. lol
