Anyone try Ubuntu - Linux

i never use linux. any of you try Ubuntu - Linux for Human Beings Please tell me your experience cause i have plan to use it.

Friend I never used the Ubuntu. I use a linux Brazilian very good that is called Kurumin. It's good, test it and see how it is good.

Isn't Kurumin based on knoppix ? Isn't it the live CD distribution ? Are you still running it from the CD or have you installed it?

Welcome to Linux,Since you are new to Linux,I'll recommend you to use Ubuntu.Its a very nice Operating system and a highly user friendly distro in Linux world. Though I am not using it currently (I am using Debian Etch)...but I've used Ubuntu before and have found it good.You can try it by using its Live CD or you can Install it on Harddisk.After installation, It will be required to download proprietary codecs from internet to enable audio/video stuffs(if you've some), that will be guided when you try to execute them.
