yes we do! We do the popcorn and the candy canes. I have my girls make homemade decorations for my house and our tree. I love the things they come up with to decorate with. I use them more than I do boughting decoratins

Hi!I find the homemade ones have the love put into the making of them and they have more meaning.I cannot wait for our daughter to make some this year.Shes showing an interest with this kind of stuff now with her young age.I would even like to make gingerbreadmen to hang on the tree.lol.I dont think its hard to do as ive never attempted to do them before. My gram only had homemade ones for the tree and i loved it more than the store bought ones.:):)

Hi peanutjar, No, we don't make popcorn garlands for our tree. We do hang candy canes though! My daughter will be 1 1/2 this Christmas so in the future I look forward to hanging ornaments that she has made!

I can't wait until my daughter starts to make stuff to put on the tree! That will be SO great! I also can't wait to see the look on her face when she gets something she really wanted for Christmas!

Hi there, what's been up to lately buddy? Well yeah my mom prefer to use those candycanes to put on the Christmas Tree of ours. It's so nice actually and seeing the lights and other decorations makes me feel so excited about Christmas. Have a nice day ahead and happy posting and earning here in myLot. Godspeed, Kiko

No I don't make a popcorn garland for my Christmas tree, but I did make a unique Dreamcatcher tree topper in white with red webbing, and white feathers----I secured it to a cone-like shape from mere poster board then wrapped around it a white strand of single stitch crochet work and pasted it on so it looks like one piece

I love dreamcatchers.I had put one in my van but it was always flinging back in forth on the mirror so i hung it on the coat hook in the back.Your full of surprises!Cooks good, books, pictures etc.A very talented woman!!The picture of the one you made is very nice!:)

We do candycanes, and every year we make pom-pom popcorn instead of useing popcorn we get the pom-poms from the craft store and use them. I hate the smell of popcorn, and it also looks pretty to. Me and my son also made angel ornaments last year, out or wire and little pearls. I love christmas, so we bake cookies, chocolates, and all that kind of stuff too!

Pom-pom popcorn?I never heard of that.So if i was to get some,i would just go in any craft store and ask for that?I like the idea of that! Its less time consuming and plus my daughter would eat the popcorn all up before i even got started.lol.I love christmas too!and all the goodies with it!lol:)
