have you met your netfriend?

I have met a few online friends. Most notably the one who is now my husband, and many of his friends whom I talked to online first as well. =) I used to keep an eye out for people who lived near me when talking online, so that we could possibly meet. When I lived in Kentucky, I met many people online who lived close enough to me to meet offline as well. Here in Michigan, I've only met one of the people I talked to online, and it didn't turn out well (he kept trying to get involved with me even though I'm married.) I do have a long list of online friends that I would love to meet. I have talked to most of them via messengers, email, telephone, postal mail, etc. I sent one of them a gift a few years ago, and when we just got back in touch recently after not talking for a while, one of the first things he said was that he still used my gift. =) There are a few people from mylot I would really love to meet, but I kind of live in the middle of nowhere, and don't have transportation.

I have met lots of friends from the internet. I traveled across my own country to meet some and I traveled to a whole other country to meet one. I've also met some locally. I, personally, make sure I've known them for a while and everything and it's always friendly...never for love. I've always had good luck and enjoyed everyone I've met from the internet.

Some friends through the site called Friendster.com and i also have good online friends in Myspace, but i haven't met some of them in real. I have many net freinds and haqve met a few of them, woudl love to meet all eventually but as I have so many freinds from abroad it woudl be hard and very expensive fro this to become a reality, If I speak to someone for a while on teh net and we get on well plus if they arelclose enough then I definately think meeting them face to face is the next step and helps you to find out more about them.

I've met a friend from the online world. Im usually pretty cagey about that sort of thing especially with all the stories you hear so when they first suggested meeting up i was a bit wierd about it lol. Shortly after they suggested it they told me they were coming to england from california on holiday and they asked if we could meet up so, with it being my hometown i said yes. They stayed with me for two wonderful days and we had a fantastic time, they are the coolest ever! Then last year, I was going to america on holiday with my mum but I hadnt picked a spot to go to and they suggested coming to their house in LA. It was the best decision i ever made. I had a fantastic time and I saw things that tourists dont often get to see like going to the mine my friend has a part share in and digging for pink tourmalines (although his wife wasnt pleased with having two dirty, grinning figures stroll in after 12 hours!). Needless to say, im off there again next year and they tell me that they have all sorts of wacky things lined up woot!
