Remember the poor student who got TASERED at the John Kerry event? At the University of Florida? Turns out the poser was looking to make the whole thing happen. It was most likely a publicity stunt. The punk wants to get into the national media and wanted some camera time. Here's the rest of the story.

What's your opinion of these kind of people who do this crap?

Some people want their minute in the spoplight! If he wasn't there to make it happen then I feel sorry for him. but if he was there for the publicity he got what he deserved. all he ever had to do was get away from the mic and they would not have arrested or tasered him. Bet his parents are so proud, sorry Mom and Dad!

The circumstantial evidence this guy wanted this to happen is huge. He is a manipulative media publicity hog. Hope this guy never gets a job in the national media like he wants.

I watched several of the videos on this and I think it was nothing more than a hoax. A way for the boy to get attention and his 15 minutes of fame.
If it was a hoax, I think he should be punished with jail time for not only the disruption but the aggrivation he caused the 2 officers. Not to mention, it could have easily resulted in a riot.
If it was legit, then I don't think anything should be done to the officers. They were doing their jobs. In the videos you can clearly hear the officers repeatedly asking him to stand and him refusing. They were left with no alternative. If he didn't want to get tasered, then he shouldn't have refused to stand and refused to leave.

It seems he is an aspiring political operative developing his skills at media manipulation while seeking employment in the media.
Just what the country needs. Someone else like this!

I completely agree with you that this guy is a fool.
BTW: So are we fools in letting PC dictate that anyone can be a police officer. Notice that this guy is a very large, tall, strong, person? The 2 small female officers could not handle him without the TASAR. Do you think this fool would have resisted 2 males of like stature with night sticks?
I'm sure the thought of several lumps on the head would have persuaded this guy against ever attempting this stunt.
This jerk undoubtely knew he was going up against 2 smallish females and was looking forward to the confrontation.

Personally, I think they should "zap" him a couple more times.
Being tasered is not pleasant; but, he will have that film clip around for a long time after the pain goes away.
I also think people who "Stage" things like this should have to pay the expenses involved.

Yes, I'm really tired of all the fake staged crap that goes on at the national level in politics. Well, the state and local, too!

Well, I saw the video, and the big smile on his face...and I have read all of those reports...my conclusion is that it was nothing more than a publicity stunt.
My opinion is that he needed a little back-room nightstick education.
In certain countries he would get a lot more than that.
Now 2 officers are suspended for doing their jobs.
I really hope those felony charges stick, and he was definitely resisting those officers attempts to remove and arrest him.

I'm just happy this guy is a liberal and not a republican type person. I'm also happy that conservative talk show hosts have condemed the guy while the only "flaky" host I listen to took his side. Anyone who takes this guy's side against the police when having all the information is definitely a trouble maker and a flake.

Yea I was completely disappointed. Sad part is everyone will be harping about this to no end. It always goes down like this along as it can be spun for agenda sake.
