*****Fun Bar Trivia Question*****

This is just for fun and I am not promoting drinking, bars, or anything else.
This happened to me and I got stumped....Lets see if you get this answer.
Ok, one day I was at a little neighborhood bar with my daughter and her friends, just sitting around having fun.
One of the guys came and joined our discussion and bet me a dollar that I couldn't answer his trivia question correctly.
So of course, I, being the person that I am with a big smile on my face, put my dollar down next to his on the table and said "Hit Me With Your Best Shot".....................and I again, being the recipient of this little trivia question,...lost my dollar.
Here's the question:
What was the U.S. Presidents' name back in 1947?
Do you remember his name?

Reading some of the responses to your post, I was convinced that your question indeed was really tricky; thus I analyzed (*wink*) it and came to this:
I would rephrase your question as, "In 1947, how is the president of the U.S. referred to as?"
And my answer would be, President.
:) it's just for fun...lol!

HaHa, I keep trying to give little clues but don't want to give the answer away as yet.....
I could have said 1948, 1949, 1950 and so on and so on.......HaHa, now I really have you puzzled hmmm?
Nothing special about 1947 (except, I was born in 1947, lol),........I'm glad no one knows where I live cause you'd all come over and beat me up after I tell you the answer, lol!!!........

I have to admit to having cheated on this one and looking it up on wikipedia - shall I post the answer here yet or wait for a few others to have a stab? LOL Well now I've said where I got the answer from everyone can go look it up too! :)

HAHAHA!...This is tooo much fun!...The answer to your question is "no" that is not the answer....I know this is confusing but there is a real answer to this. I don't want to give it yet because it's too soon but I promise I will eventually....and I wish I could take a picture of everyone's face when I reveal the answer...smile.

What was the US Presidents' name back in 1947?
Answer: George W. Bush
George W. Bush was born on July 6, 1946 therefore his name was George W. Bush in 1947 also.

I looked it up as well but coming from England I wouldn't have known any other way. Do you guys have to remember all the names of your presedents??

haha,...no, we do not have to remember all their names...this is just a fun trick question and anyone can look this up...but, it doesn't necessarily mean its the right answer, lol.......
