Since morning I am hearing on FM radio that 23rd September 2007 is being celebrated as daughters' day. THe ad says that Archies are organizing it. Are you people aware of it? What are your plans for the day. I have two daughters aged 5 yrs and 18 months. I have to decide on what gifts I should purchase for them.

I have never heard of daughters day before. It is kinda a cool idea, but then , when is sons day? We celebrate so many holidays around here, I think that I am going to pass on this one.

If I knew of a sons day, then I would definitely celebrate daughters day. I have 3 boys and one girl. The boys would freak out if we started celebrating daughters day and there was no sons day. I bet we will see it soon as the card companys come up with all kinds of holidays.

You are right. Sons will feel sure bad if you celebrate daughters day and sons day. I have no such problem as I have two daughters only. But I have not told them about it or else they will be after me for a nice celebration.

I have not heard about any daughters day. Archies are card selling people. Perhaps they want to increase sale of their cards.

Hi kishusia! I have never ever heard of Daugther's Day but I will be celebrating one of my Daugther's Birthday's this weekend because her birthday is on 9/21. I guess if there is a Mom's, Dad's and Grandparents Day there should be a Daugther's Day. I wonder if there is a Son's Day?/
