In Fiji the local people are very friendly and nice indeed. I stayed in a small guest house. However I left my dressing gown on the washing line. I realized this and went over there to get it before I went over to a lovely little island. I left it there too. I was at the airport before I knew this and was about to fly to Australia. I heard an announcement asking me to collect it from a desk in the airport. The management of the island had very kindly sent it over to me. Wow!

It is a shame that you didn't get your daughters bed gate back. Luckily it was not expensive to buy a new one. One of my friends has a son and he once fell out of bed on to a stone floor and broke his arm! I am just going on holiday and we have a pop up travel cot for our baby son. It pops up fine but getting it back down is a nightmare.

Hi maximax8!This was very nice of them to do!I stayed in a place one time and forgot our daughters bed gate(a netting put so she doesnt fall out of bed).I relized this when we arrived home. They never called or nothing.I called to see if it was there and they checked.Someone put it in the laundry service station.I said keep it,it only cost 24.99 canadian so i bought a new one the next day.The point is they never called to say they found it.Not good service at all.:)

That has never happened to me thank goodness. It has happened to my mom though. They are in racing so they are gone alot. Well she was letting the guys pack the car and she sat one of her bags out to be taken to the car because she had just finished packing it back up and she went down to get some breakfast (the complimentary breakfast at the hotel). Well, the guys came down and they said they had packed everything up. Well, they get all the way back home and she finds that her bag is missing. She asked her fiance where the bag was and he said I don't know but I know we packed it. Well, she figured they didn't pack it after she had searched everywhere for it so she called the hotel and it was still there. They have an account with Fed-ex because they use it all the time with their racing stuff and she told the guy at the hotel that. So he sent it back to her through Fed-ex and she was so glad (I guess with their account that it charged my mom for it, I don't know how it works). I think she makes sure she is there everytime they pack up now. LOL

luckily not, and god forbids it should not happen, however this incident happened with my mother when she was returning to india from uzbekistan, on indian airport another uzbek lady by mistake too away by neice bag, as both of them were similar in appearance, but mother and father were astonished to find out, and were wondering what could be done, when this lady came back and apologized for her mistake
