My son loves cheese sticks and sometimes I'll cut up one for him to eat with his lunch. He is only 16 months so he can't really eat the stick by himself or he would try to cram it all in his mouth so I cut it up in pieces for him. Well, today I was going to cut one up for him and when I tried to cut it it was really hard to cut. I wondered what was wrong so I looked at it closely and could see something greenish looking. So I pulled the cheese stick apart and there was a piece of plastic in there. It went from the top of the cheese to the bottom of the cheese. It was like some kind of plastic wrapper (but it wasn't the same kind of wrapper that this cheese stick came in) and it must have gotten in there when they were making the cheese. It made me really upset because if I would have given a whole cheese stick to my son (which I don't do because I don't want him to try to cram it all in his mouth)he could have gotten that plastic stuck in his throat. I emailed the company but haven't gotten a response back yet. I'm adding a picture so you can see it.

You should write them a letter and send it snail mail too. I wrote a company regarding their product and got several coupons for free items and several for cents off.

Have you heard back from the company yet? That is scary and I'm glad that you found the plastic before it could harm your son. Sometimes having to dice their food can be a blessing!

No, I haven't heard back from the company yet. And you know what, that makes me even more mad at them since they haven't even gotten back to me about it. I guess I'll keep bugging them about it until they get back to me.

Thank goodness you found it. I would also write a paper letter to the company. Save that piece of plastic you might need it as evidence.
