Mamegoma is a series creayed be San-X [the same japanes company that made rirakkuma]. Mamegoma are small seals, about the size of a gold fish, that are (imaginarily) kept as pets. There are many accesories with mamegoma on them [wallets, pencils, purses, towels, etc] like the hello kitty series.

I love Mamegoma! The cutest series that came out of these character line would have to be the ones with them in other animal costumes. They are so adorable, I actually wish they were real! I would get one as a pet for sure. I'd make my mini seal pup sit in a mug like in the pictures LOL!
