Hot food + Glasses = Annoyance!

I wear reading glasses, and I usually get online to post on forums and such during my lunch break. Today, I've got a mini pizza for my lunch, and every time I take a bite of it, my glasses fog up from the heat of the pizza! I can't even imagine having to wear glasses all the time, and trying to eat! Do people with glasses have a trick to get around their glasses fogging up when they eat hot food?

There was a product I used a few years ago to prevent glasses from fogging up. It's along the same lines as the stuff that you spray on your windows on the inside to keep them from getting steamed up. I can't remember the name of it, something like De-Fog For Glasses. It was nice because in the summer you could wear your glasses without them getting a little fogged around the edges when you sweat and in the winter it kept them from getting steamed up when you would walk in and out of the house.

I vaguely remember something along these lines from friends who wore glasses all the time. Sounds like something that might be worth looking for! :)

Luckily, I haven't had to cope with wearing my glasses and moving from a warm place to a cool place or vice versa. The only other time my glasses fog up is over a cup of tea, and somehow that always made more sense to me than them fogging up over pizza would. :)

I have the same problem. Also in the winter time when I go from outside where it's cold to the inside where it's nice and warm, they fog up and I can't see anything. I have to just stop and wait for them to clear. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

I'm sorry but... BWA HA HA HA HA That was just a funny visual. I'm sure it's really annoying and all, but the visual was just really funny to me. I can't imagine having that happen everytime you eat, I'd probably throw the glasses across the room in frustration if it were me.

That always used to drive me nuts! I used to wear glasses all the time, and I finally switched over to contacts after a few years of it because things like that just really annoyed me. Mine used to fog up when I'd eat or when entering a warm building if the weather was really cold outside. I never really figured out a way to keep it from happening though.
