This article could make your head hurt! But he does seem to know what he is talking about. http://articles.moneycentral.msn.com/Investing/SuperModels/AreWeHeadedForAnEpicBearMarket.aspx Personally, I don't think it is as all bad as this guy indicates. I think in a year or two the market will be oversold and a great buying opportunity will exist. What do you think? Anyone's opinion is as good as anyone else's in the stock market!

Like you say Red, flip a coin. I'm just having a little cringe at the 0.5% drop in rates the U.S. Fed has just announced, I see this as, Hey the horse is gone, quick close the door. Who are the blithering idiots that decided it would be a really good idea to give loans to people 6, 7 and 8 times their income when everyone in their right mind never went over 2 or 3 times that individuals income. Result is, the 6, 7 and 8 times over their income loans can never be paid back, the loans default or foreclose. The world is in the situation it is now because of this having happened. I know, it was some financial genius's that thought this would stimulate the economy, and be good. Well, it was really good, until the columns collapsed and now there is a big pile of rubble. No-one can be held accountable for this mess by the look of it, like any mess in the financial world that 'experts' create. My advice mate, buy gold and precious metals, and put it under your mattress. But shares in new technology, like THORIUM reactors. If you find anything on Thorium reactor technology shares Red, lemme know.

I use ameritrade and schwab. It costs $10.00 US to buy or sell at ameritrade. Once you get your account set up, there is nothing to it.
