Is/Was your School second home to you?

hi friends
There is a saying that " The School is second home and the teacher is second father\mother" . I certainly feel that schools are our second home , its ok . But Every teachers aren't the same . Certainly some teachers influence the students lot by their motherly advice and all . But all the teachers aren't same
Do you think that the School is our second home ?
or
Do you think that the teacher is our second father/daughter?

Yeah I agree to that...since we spent more time at school for five days, so I believe it's our second home.

Yes, i agree that the school is our second home... i love going to school because of my friends and the teachers that i can relate to... maybe that is one reason why i became a teacher... as a teacher... school was still my second home and my students were like my children or my brothers and sisters...

Even though all teachers have a friendly attitude towards the students , the way of expressing that by each one will be difficult and some times students will take the other way

I dont think my school is second home to me.I think like that because my teachers always look me like i am low class than my friend.

My school was second home to me. My form tutor was approachable on a wide range of matters including personal matters. We had her as our classroom tutor for three consecutive years. As you say, there were certain others on the teaching staff who were only at their posts, because it was a living, and switched off immediately the bell sounded.

my school is my second home, and my teachers are my second mom and dad, because i spend over 15 hours at school everyday.
i'm from China, so most of people know that it is hard time for students at school. we have get school at 7:00 o'clock in the morning, then we leave school at 10:00 o'clock in the evening. if we dont' work hard, then our teacher will be worried about us, and chat with us lonely. then sometimes i feel they are my second father and mother. they hope we both can pass the exam of college, and find a good job, and live a better life. so i respect the occupation of teacher.

Hello juniorance, I think in a way school was a second home for me when I was a kid and still studying. I pratically spend my wholeday in school at classes in the morning and afternoon. Its only in the evening and weekends that I get to spend and play at home with my family.
Teachers as our second parent, yes I think so too because they are the ones whoss teaching us about manners, history, almost anything about life whenever we are in class. At home its our real parents who does that. :-)
