Regardless of routine, they just won't go to sleep. The have bunk beds, and they still sleep on the same bed. Even when they know they have preschool (which they wouldn't miss a day), they still won't go to sleep. I have everyone in bed by 9 every night, with the exception of school breaks or special occasions. I can have all the other kids asleep by 9:15, except for the girls. I know seperating them will cause a lot of problems, because they are so used to each other. And we have tried it before, they just won't have it. So what can I do to help them go to sleep at night? we have tried the warm bath with the soothing scents, warm milk, stories, and have kept to our routine...So what should I do now?

In one episode of Desperate housewives...Lynette (mother of very active twin), made her twin sons do a lot of play work that involves running, shoveling, or anything that would tire them so that they would get to bed early at night... just taught that might give you an idea...

How I wished that would work for these girls. We can let them run around all day at the park, in the yard, and let them terrorize the neighborhood, they have more energy than they can get rid off. The really hard part is that regardless of what time they go to bed, I have to stay up with them, then get up with the other kids in the early morning to get them off to school. Anyways, thanks for the response. Good idea, just doesn't work for them
