What is the best experience you had in China?

Among my experiences, I would say that Climbing The Great Wall was the best experience. It's not easy to climb just three towers. But there is a saying that goes "Anyone who scales the great wall is a real man/woman." I guess after surviving the three-tower climb out of over 2,000 towers (imagine that you are almost 4,000 feet above sea level, no water, with a big tourist bag, beating high altitude air and still you sweat a lot, and each step three times bigger than a single step) I guess I can sayyyy........Hooooooooooweeeeeeeee!!!

I went to china (beijing) during the Chinese New Year this year. I think the best experience I had was my "celebrity" status. I don't know how many kids were thrust into my arms so I could take pictures with them. I bet I'm in photo albums all across China. :)

Hey that's really cool! So If I see a picture of a guy carrying kids on Chinese New Year that has got to be you lol! Well, people in China do give this kind of attention to foreigners. I may not have the celebrity status but I also get the occasional stare from the locals.

I saw your pictures!! Wow~!! It makes me want to go back to China all the more. I miss going to the Great Wall, If only I could trek the whole thing haha! And also I think there are still many places I haven't been to. I want to see Xiamen and Shanghai as well. Do you think the "Shaolin" Temple is cool to visit?

What a great way of enjoying the great wall. Puffing your way to those three towers with a big tourist bag is no joke. I can only guess that you are athletic, thereby enabling you to make those efforts. Come December I will try to surpass your record.I will try to make it four towers. And of course, with also a large Nike tourist bag. Wish me luck.

Hi molusk. It is true that i'm a bit athletic that's why. And yes, I do love challenges. Wow, so you will be going to the great wall too. Hehe If you do beat my record then do tell me about it. But of course, aside fromt he Great Wall, there are lots of things to see like the summer palace, The Forbidden City and Tian An Men square
