New friends

I live in the rural country area here, ok, there is alot of peps around here that I know isn't good peps.I am lonely though.My best friend lives in town over 30 miles away.And that means we can only email or call each other instead of actually sitting down with each other and visiting.I don't have anyone to sit down with and have a cup of coffee or hang out with around here.What do you suppose I can to to find a decent girlfriend to hang with.Where is live is alot of older peps and the ones my age or younger are all dope head,seriously.I have neighbors who are family, and I don't get along with them due to family problems plus they love to gossip on you if you tell them anything at all.The only other friends I have is on this darn computer, and I think that is unhealthy.With gas prices it is hard to travel to town even once aweek.And when I go ,it is for groceries or something to do with my kids and school or a dr. appointment.And that makes me so tired I can't even think about visiting with my best friend.Plus she is a very busy momma,she has sick lil' ones most of the time,soooo I am told best not to come today unless you want the "runs"or catch the croup.So any ideas where to start?

:( OH so sorry ur feeling isolated
but i have to say im sort of in the same boat
i left alot of friends back *home* but im busy alot so i dont relaly thing about it
I have to thank the computer for Sort of saving my sanity with having so many others to talk to!
and from ALL Over the world too!!
We may not be able to sit down and have coffee, i have no boue where in the world u are, country lol - im in US near Canada, but we can chat daily if u have an MSN or yahoo Messanger :)

Id ask my friend there the one who says he kids are sick alot if shed like to come over to UR house! mayeb she can have a sis watch the kids or thier father ( if hes there, home, available) it would give her a break as well and some ADULT contact as well - and if she seems to refuse alot then maybe ( im not sure i dont know all the details) that ur *growing apart* :(
just what im hearing - some people like to use their kids as
*buffers - excuses* for not wanting to see u
sad but true - or come right out and ask her
why she seems to not want to see u or take a *breather* ??
*Just my two cents *
not worth much in this economy! :( lol

Thanks that would be nice.I live in Kentucky by the way. My friend, she does have alot going on, but she seems to be there for me when I need her, over the phone.Some times it isn't the same.I'll email you here my hotmail address for messneger.Thanks.
