Everywhere in IT you see Indians when it comes to programming jobs. Also with outsourcing projects lots of freelancers are from India. Sure they have a large population but the same goes for China and you'll find less Chinese programmers around.

Because Chinese programmers are not good at English. If they were, they will push Indians out. Usually Indians do one and show two, Chinese do two only show one.

Not sure what you mean by that last saying but I think you have a point with the English knowledge which is fairly good in India.

But IT is very typical to find Indian programmers. China is known for outsourcing production work while India is known for outsourcing development and callcenters.

I am an indian and i am actually happy to hear that. But the fact is in India, computer science is given a lot of importance and the syllabus we study in the engineering pattern makes us concentrate on the programming talents. Engineers are huge in numbers in india and most of them do a really good job. In china, more than computer programming, their inclination is towards electronics. Thats a field that they are toppers in.

That may be so, but their scripts and programs are terrible. Most are Back Door bugged. Their html pages are completely messed up and i have yet to see a script that works right. Thats from 15 years online experience.

Really, hmm I was going to outsource a project to India. I personally had good experiences in my previous job with outsourcing. Ofcourse you have to make sure they develop according to your framework and the way you like to have your code. I think when you look for the cheapest solution you will also get the cheapest script in terms of quality. I also find it hard to get good coders who can do it according to my specs.
