Do people count on you too much?

I have a friend who counts on me all the time and gets mad when I can't just drop what I am doing on help. My mother had me drop everything I was doing and fraked me all out over nothing yesterday. I ended up toating both kids, one not feeling well with a sinus infection, over an hour away to go run errands. BAH! I wish I wasn't so reliable and niave sometimes. I always feel bad and end up helping when I really just need some time to get stuff done for myself or *gasp* sit down for a second.

Yes, and it's going to stop. I'm really tired of a particular person thinking I'm like some kind of "personal servant" to her. I burned that bridge tonight. And she's not even my mother! It's not my problem that she has no other friends besides me. She needs to get out and make some friends.

I'm always signing up myself for more and more favors for people. Just once, I'd like someone to do something for me!

Ughhh. I've had friends like that before and it's so inconsiderate for them to be like that. How can they expect us to drop everything and do for them? The thing is, the people I know that are like that are not the kinds of people that will do the same for me. I'm also the kind of person that will usually do what anyone needs me to do though. I hate being taken advantage of, but I also hate saying no.
