sheribabe, I am also one of the coffee lovers, but for me, the last time I visited a starbucks Caffe is 2 years ago. I don't mind going to the place for you are right the aroma of coffee is very enticing but after an incident that happened with my nephew, where a guy next to him loss his bag and electric guitar and other valuables just because the guy is so engross in sipping his coffee. He didn't realize that a stranger also drinking coffee, slowly but surely getting his things. Drinkers are engross in sipping their cup of coffee and starbucks is offering a free newspaper to read, this will surely divert your attention. After this incident my desire for starbucks decline rapidly. Nowadays, I just make my own brew, I dry the beans, remove the shells, roast to a right color, then grind using a hand driven mill, put in a percolator and presto a good cup of coffee. Maybe starbuck sells good coffee, but without an adequate security, I dont want to be a another victim of those rascals that take the opportunity while you are sipping your steaming hot coffee and reading the dailies. My habit with starbucks decline but not with my coffee. Still able to down 10 cups a day. Capucino anyone? Ferritic

That's a horrible thing to happen! I guess you can never be too careful... I think I'd love to have some really freshly grind coffee like you make... That has to be great! I think I'd really enjoy a cup of coffee with you!

sheribabe, I love to talk and share stories over a cup of coffee. I can drink four cups in one sitting. We are now planning to utilize our idle lands and covert it to coffee farm. I currently doing research about coffee and every sip makes me realize how difficult it is before they can put coffee in my cups. Grinding your coffee is better for your health and besides you will savor every drop of the coffee you brewed. You will have a keen sense of smell when you start to roast and grind coffee beans. I guess when we start farming then I will share about my experiences. More power. ferritic

the last time i was at starbucks was about 5 months ago. i usually dont spend time sitting around, i just order my coffee and sip while i shop or check out the malls. starbucks really had drawn a lot of people and even students hang out here after classes, which really makes the place noisy and not ideal for quiet reading which i prefer.

Starbucks is too luxuriousfor my budget - Starbucks is too luxurious for my poor budget. A three dollar coffee is just too much for my empty wallet to take.
Starbucks is a budget breaker for me so I very seldom go. I think the last time I went was about four months ago to the one inside Safeway in my neighborhood shopping center. Three bucks plus for a cup of coffee is something I cannot afford although I wish I could.

That price sucks.... Sometimes I have found coupons to get free coffee... Thats a good day for me... It's worth looking for a coupon.

Ok, I've only actually been inside a Starbucks once, but when I did go in it, it was for about 4 hours or so. Let me explain. I had to do a political paper for a school project, and had to actually interview a real politician and I actually met him there. Anyway, I had to ask all these questions, and also had to record everything on cassette tape. And boy was it a long interview, and then after the interview was all over with, I did stay a little longer after the person I was interviewing had left, and did get a good feel for the place. Anyway, I actually did like the place, to me it was very relaxed and very conmfortable to be in. Why have i Not been back? That could be because I'm not a coffee drinker, so I never really had any real reason to go back but maybe I will someday soon? Hey you never know! I just hope that I helped to answer your question! :D And one more thing;... When is sexy Bijiou going to get his sexy RED colored Hot Rod sport car and when will you get him a few chicks??? Please do let me and the rest of us in here know, ok?! Thanks!:) Love you! - Let's all Vote for BIJIOU For President! What say You?!! :D (Why not?? I know I would Vote for him!)

my city is overrun with starbucks. 1 mall can contain 2 or 3 branches of starbucks! The last time I went to starbucks was, I think, last year. My hubby and I prefer Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf which we visit more often.
