Yes, it is true! Today there is a crater in Peru. Many local inhabitants became ill. A metorite did strike the earth! Read about it here. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070920/ap_on_sc/peru_meteorite So, do you think this is: 1) The beginning of a barrage of metorites that will kill all life on earth? 2) The beginning of a real life "Invasion of the body snatchers"? 3) The beginning of a secret CIA operation to conduct psyops against the poor people of Peru? 4) The beginning of the proof of man made global warming which caused the metor to be pulled from orbit to strike the earth? 5) The beginning of yet another silly myLot thread?

I'm waiting for the conspiricy theorists as we speak. I'm sure it's some part of some big plot by george bush to opress some more of the worlds people. After all, that's why we caused the Tsunami and klatrina, or at least blew some stuff up. So I'm sure, mark my words and watch the news circles and conspiricy sites, this will be our fault somehow.

No sooner had I made the above post then I went to Alex Jone's paranoid planet....excuse me, I'm sorry, Prison planet .com and found this http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/september2007/200907Peru.htm These peoples main and most glaring flaw is that they are EXTREMELY predictable.

Now, just wait a minute! Did anyone claim to actually see the metor? Think how easily one could put 5 lbs of C4 in the ground and blow that hole in the ground to look like a crater! Throw in a rock to simulate a metor. Spray around some aerolized chemicals to cause minor illness and you have a fake metor strike. This could be used to create a basis for government grants to study the problem. How do we know out of work scientists are not behind this? Until I see better evidence, I'm not believing this. BTW: Just kidding. It is fun to get carried away sometimes.

Ah... Alex Jones. Living breathing proof that the first admendment to the constitution is alive and well. Otherwise, what purpose could he serve? BTW: I think Jones' real mission in life is for the government to monitor who contacts him so as to have a list of potential wackos to scrutinize whenever anything happens. This would not require Alex Jones' co-operation. Except for us, (OF COURSE), some really strange people listen to him, you know.

I think 5 hits the spot. They did say at the time they thougth the dust thrown up when the metorite hit the ground that made people ill. I don't know, I wouldn't like one to hit anywhere near me but they hit the earth all the time.

Well, if we were to consider this seriously for a minute, yes, dust from the area, if it contained certain minearals, could cause the slight illness after the impact.

It was the Scientologists alien/god mother ship that came to take away John Travolta and the New Messiah Tom Cruise, but they crashed and burned, and now we are really stuck with John and Tom forever.

I wish more people knew you are not kidding about the Scientology beliefs. These people are a cult. It's founder L. Ron Hubbard promulated a false religion merely to see if he could and to show off his science fiction writing skills. Scientology is even illegal in some countries. It really is not a religion. It is a money raising scam.

I think it was the test firing of a new weapon in prelude to a full fledged attack by unknown aliens who are fed up with the whole man is responsible for global warming nonsense. Between this and the upcoming election, all the nonsense soon to hit the airwaves has been interfering with their tv watching and they finally had enough. The only other possibility is that Bush has secretly conquered the moon and it was simply a moon-based weapons test in preparation for declaring a state of emergency and installing himself as world ruler.

Oh MY God! This makes so much sense that you have to be right! Unknown aliens launching a secret weapon from the moon. It explains everything! All hail King Bush, ruler of all Earth rightfully so as its one and only hero who saved us all.

No, no no. It's all part of the new world order plot. The new world leaders are test firing a weapon that draws people to the impact site and sickens them. It's true, several witnesses, who asked not to be identified saw the weapon fire. this was confirmed by a an anonmous source with the U.S. government. A guy knows a guy who knows a guy who has a cousin that has a friend who is a dog groomer for this guy with a degrea in this sort of thing said all the data points to this plot. We're all just sheeple who can't see the truth, being blindly led in to dictatorial oblivian.

LOL... yeah. I think it is true. When I read this article, I thought that well, this news would be the beginning of another myLot thread. Perhaps, people will consider that wow! we're going to be attacked by UFO. But I think it was caused by virus from outer space. I am not sure... people then think that UFO may be exist because virus from outer space is also exist.
