Stove tops/Ovens?

What kind of stove do you have? Electric coil top stove and oven, Gas stove top and oven, Do you have a convection oven? What do you have and why do you like cooking with it? I have a friend who won'tcookon anything but a gas stove, she says it's alot quicker.

We have an electric coil top. I love it. We also have a toaster oven. I love the way the kitchen stays cool when using it.

Hi there. We have a glass top fan oven, which having the fan is faster then the normal conventional ovens, its just annoying if there was milk or other foods spilt on the glass, for it will have to be cleaned with a creme agent for that particular glass... Luckily if any spillages for us, we have 2 bottles stored under the sink...

I have the ceramic glass top oven. I can't stand it. I will never buy one for my own house. I am renting or I would replace it. It does not heat up pot and pans very good. The burner turns on and off to maintain temp. while cooking which makes cooking difficult. Cleaning it is a pain and it isn't worth the trouble. Plus everyone uses the top as counter space so it is always dirty and having to clean it it off is a big production. You can just wipe it off, because it streaks. It is always a messy streaked up eye sore!
Now that I got that out....I like gas and electric stoves. I have used them both, and the gas stove heats up sooner, so it is my preferred.

Right now we have a regular coil top electric stove. In our old house we had a smooth top stove and I loved it. I am saving up money to buy another one right now. We have a gas stove in our travel trailer. I like it,but I prefer electric.I have never tried a convection oven.
