This tournament is a catch and release.. It is held in Tidioute PA..Sept. 27-28-29-30, 2007.. It takes place in a little town about 25 miles from my town, where my husband grew up....They have a carnival...There is a Junior Fishing Derby, which is kids 3 to 10 years old... Arts and Crafts Show, and a Parade... The fish have to be taken from the Allegheny Reservoir, Allegheny river..It starts at the base of the Kinzua Dam and it goes to Tionesta PA, which is between 50 and 70 miles..The fish get weighed and measured and must be alive to be released..Points are deducted for dead fish..... Muskellunge must be 40 inches.... Northern Pike must be 24 inches... Walleye must be 15 inches.... Small Mouth Bass must be 12 inches to qualify... We go every year. My husbands brother and his wife come from Arizona.. It draws people from all over..
