Reducing Side Effects

I recently had to take a course of Methylprednisolone as part of treating a back injury. I was wondering if anyone had ideas for how to reduce the side effects I had while taking it. It felt like a bad mix of severe PMS emotional symptoms, continual low blood sugar (shaky, weak, faint) and oddly a symptom I've only had before when I was withdrawing from Trileptal which is a generalized buzzing/vibrating sensation. Unfortunately I may have to take additional rounds of this or similar steroid medicine due to a skin condition I have. I'm hoping someone who has taken this kind of medicine regularly might know of ways to reduce the severity of these side effects. Are there foods, vitamins, or some such thing that helps? Any advice appreciated.

Awww Seaclans, I feel so sorry for you. I don't have an answer to your question but are you sure you're not allergic to it?

I'm pretty sure I'm not allergic. Allergic reactions usually include itching all over and I haven't had that reaction.

Hmm, I'm not sure I want to try any herbal products at this time. Thanks for the info though.
