How many of you have been invited to home sales parties? Like Pampered Chef or Mary Kay or Party Lite? What do you think of them? Do you like to go? What things do you like about home sales parties? What things do you dislike? Do you ever host them at your own house? Tell me what you think!

When I was in my twenties I hosted a tupperware party and I had about 14-16 people can't remember exactly but my goodness you had to see what I got for having the party I got a beautiful clothes hamper and waste basket and bathroom scale to match as well as some bowls. I had bought a canister set. I still have the canister set and using it the scale and hamper set is now in the dump but I had it for a lot of years. Now a days you have to sell goodness knows how much to get one or two little candles. I used to enjoy going to those type things but everything is so darn expensive and you feel like you have to buy something and not be too cheap. Therefore I just don't bother much. Take Care my friend.

Thanks for sharing. I'm trying to figure out how to make the parties more fun, and not have people feel pressured to buy.

I've been to Pampered Chef and Tupperware parties. I like the food the best. I think they're nice, but expensive. I have not hosted one.
Mary Kay, I've had a private makeover, but I've never been to their parties. Never even heard of Party Lite. Take care

If you lived near me, I'd invite you to an Arbonne party! :) Thanks for responding.

I have been to quite of few house sales parties. I have been to Partylite, Epicure, Pampered Chef, Norwex and possibly a few others. I really don't like to go, but because it's friends of mine hosting I usually feel obligated. The thing I hate the most is that the stuff always seems really good but is always really expensive. At the Norwex party the mop was $120! And because it's your friends you feel obligated to buy something. I just don't like the pressure but I want to support my friends. I'm always torn when I go.
