A rat in my chickenbox!!!

Image being out shopping all day and on your way home you decided to stop and buy you a chickenbox dinner on your way home. Because you don't feel like cooking when you get home so when you get home you put your chickenbox on the table get relax sat down at the table open your chickenbox and there is a dead rat in your chicken. Holy sh*t! What would you have done?

I would probably gag and never eat chicken (or take away) again! Also, if I had the money, I'd take the food chain to court and try to sue for distress and say that I'm tainted for the rest of my life and can't eat anything unless it's been grown in my garden and prepared by myself. I would request a payout. Yep. I doubt this could happen though because obviously the person packing the chicken in the box would notice it. Unless it was prepared hours earlier and was just sitting there on the bench and a rat decided to crawl in it and just so happened to die..

yes, i agree with you that there is a need to bring this case to court. otherwise, that foodchain will not learn their lesson and will keep on with their irresponsible acts. the people in the food business are holding our health in their hands. if they serve us tainted food, we eat it without any knowledge about it. then later or much later still, we sufffer from the consequence of having paid for food which we thought was fit for human consumption.

i will surely file for a formal complaint about it. obviously, the chickenbox that you got was prepared hours earlier and not as you have ordered for it. maybe it will be wise for you to consult a lawyer on this matter. yes, those people in the food business must be aware of their responsibility as regards the need to prepare food which is safe for the consumption of the consuming public. those who order for their food have reasons for so doing and the reasons are as varied as everyone can mutter and itemize. our needs are triggered by so many causes. one who is so hungry orders food and cannot eat it, has been deprived so heavily of his most needed food for the moment and such was your case.
