I had a chickenpox when i was six years old. They says that when you have chicken pox at older age, it will become crucial, because normally chickenpox arrived when we are a child. But i never known anyone that has chicken pox and it becomes difficult to them the experience.

This is a nightmare!!! I'm already 31 years old, never had chickenpox when I was youg and now I have it. I'm still on my third day of having this disease and I'm really scared of what will happen to me or what will I look like after this.I never really imagine myself having this at my age. It's unfair!! I don't know what to do or what to think anymore. I"m so depressed!

Hello honesty2008, Yes I already had chikenpox before when I was still young. I remember me and my sister all had it almost at the same time. Now, I still have some marks left from scars the blisters cause chikenpox I had before. Yes from what I read its true that its worse when your are older. Cases of adult chickenpox are far less common than those in children, but the potential complications for adults infected with chickenpox are very serious. They say that chickenpox complications are more likely to occur in adults than in children. If you want to know more about it and how to prevent it you might want to read this article. :-) source: http://chickenpox.emedtv.com/chickenpox/adult-chickenpox.html
