Some people say, "To be a teacher is very rewarding! They have a long summer holiday" Others say, "Teachers' Job is boring and not challenging!" I say, "I hope any occupation is my job but not a teacher, the role of which is too painful! However I wish a good teacher to be my child!" What do you say?

I will just let my child choose whatever kind of career he prefers based on his interest and his major at college. The future job for him is based on what he will learn at college, therefore it is still early to know about what he will do in the future. Teachers' job is not boring, but challenging in the first place. Why? Teachers don't always teach the same old textbooks as the textbooks keep changing in a couple of years. Even if it is the same textbooks, it still has a lot for a teacher to learn and master. You can not expect to master well all the key points that need to be taught to the students. Instead a teacher needs to update his knowledge every so often to keep up with the new situation in the education circle. I feel happy to be a teacher and have been engaged in this line for many years. Still I find that you will never learn enough for yourself to be a learned teacher. By the way, I am not clear about the last sentence you wrote and feel a little confused about it. That is "I wish a good teacher to be my child"? What do you say about it, please? Thanks in advance.

when i was a child, i wanted to be a teacher, because it is a respecting occupation. but now i don't want to be a teacher in a long time, it is a boring job, you do the same thing everyday. the most important is that i don't know how to communicate with my students. if i had a child, then i let him/her make a choice. if he/she wants to be a teacher, then i will respect his/her choice, but i will force him/her to be a good teacher and don't judge a student by his/her marks.

I think teaching is a great profession but the pay usually stinks. I would want my child to be whatever they want to be.
