Would You Date Someone You Met on the Internet

let's say you're in a chat room, you meet a guy/girl that you like but he/she lives 4 states away. would you long distance date them?
some ppl say no, but what is the difference between long distance dating and dating on the internet?
plz tell me what u think. i think it is ok, but you have to have lots of faith and trust. more than in a regular relationship

long distance relationship is tough for me and i became so paranoid. even if you got a lot of trust with that person, still at the back of your mind, you cannot help to think that maybe he's dating somebody else near him. plus, all my long distance relationship didnt work. they find another girl which is just near them.

My brother did, and then it ended horribly. She needed him so she could get back at an ex, she ruined our lives for the first two years they were together, it took a lot to get our family back on track after she left his life. She was a horrible person.

Not only have I dated someone I met on the internet, a couple of weeks ago we got married!!! I've known my husband for three years. We found eachother on line on November 28th, 2004, and on September 6th, 2007 we got married. He's the best thing that ever happened to me.
