Well we all have our favorite tunes and for our own personal reasons. Having said this, I'm interested to hear of a line from a song which you found to be inspiring in some way. For me it would have to come from Martina Mcbrides song entitled "Anyway". My favorite line from the song is: "God is great, but sometimes life ain't good, and when I pray, it doesn't always turn out like I think it should....but I do it anyway".

I like "Jesus Take The Wheel" by Carrie Underwood. The lines from that song that I like most are: 'She said Im sorry for the way Ive been living my life. I know Ive got to change so from now on tonight, Jesus take the wheel' It simply shows that God would always be with me whatever way I live my life.

I like that line, it says a whole lot. My favorite line in a song by, Whitney Houston is "Give me one moment in time when I am more than I thought I could be. And in that one moment of time, I will be free." This was a song for the Olympics one year. It is called "One Moment In Time." It is one of my favorite songs of all time. Everytime I hear it, I feel uplifted.

I have a lot of songs that inspire me but I think Garth Brooks' The Dance will always stay with me. "And now I'm glad I didn't know the way it all would end, the way it all would go. Our lives are better left to chance. I could have missed the pain but I'd of had to miss the dance." That verse means a LOT to me. We played the song at my Mom's wake and I feel those words apply to so many things in my life. I also like Garth Brooks' "Sometimes I thank God for unanswered prayers. Remember when you're talking to the man upstairs. Just because he doesn't answer, doesn't mean he don't care. Some of God's greatest gifts are unanswered prayers." Hoo boy, is that ever true. I am so glad some of what I prayed for didn't come true. I found so much better after my prayers went unanswered.
