Thankfully he can't. But you never know, maybe he will change the law to make it compulsary for him to stay.

Yes, because a President could do that. It would require a Constitutional Amendment, which is very difficult.

Aren't presidents only allowed to run for two terms only? Unfortunately he won the second one already. Name some good things he has done and don't mention the war w/Irak. I think it is the stupidest and the most unnecessary war.

i agree with u here the war is the stupidest thing bush has done by far luckly my hubby made it home saftly from that god aweful war.... maybe bush needs to serve his AWOL status in iraq seeing he did go awol from his duty in the military hes a loser and has no rights to sayen what military personal should be doing he couldnt even hold his ba**s in the military why send over innocent men to do a job he himself couldnt even finish

Didn't they prove that the documents saying he was AWOL were fakes? And it's IRAQ, not Irak.

President Bush will not be elected in 2008 because it would be his 3rd consecutive term. After the November 7th election, Congress will still be controlled by the Republicans, and then they can work on securing his third term. Not really. Even though I am a Bush fan, I would not vote for a President to do 3 consecutive terms in office. In the meantime, just Vote Republican! You'll do OK.

A president can only run for 2 terms, each term consisting of 4 years. After that there has to be a new presidential election for presidency. BUSH family has a lot of BAD history. The bush family was behind the ENRON scandal, his dad George senior sold weapons to the Taliban family back when he was president, he gave them a personal tour of the white house. So who do you think is a good president?
