Well, yesterday I wanted to play Disgaea again but the damn DVD wasn'r readed. I shaked my PS2, I even bashed it but it doesn't wanted to start the stupid game. I then turned it up-side down just out of fun but then it worked... Now I wanted to play Disgaea 2 but it didn't work. I turned it to normal again and it still didn't work. After a few reset tries the DVD finally started but then the game hang at the intro movie. Many resets later the game started again and I managed it to get past the intro and were able to play a few hours. Did something like that ever happen to you? My PS2 is alreay a very old one, a big one from the 3k Series... Maybe its life is about to end, I think I need to buy a new one soon...

Maybe you should consider not shaking and/or bashing it. Also, for the record, Sony isn't very reliable. The problem arises because developers are too stupid to go with a reliable company, instead wanting to go with the PlayStation because ghetto people play it, and ghetto people are naive (hence they're ghetto).
