do you know how safe you are everyday? because of so many crimes, i dont know how safe i will be if i went out ofmy house or even inside my house. The thief or robbers are one worst enemy of the time, they always carries something if you will fight back.

I feel pretty safe inside my own home. We have weapons everywhere that could be used to protect ourselves, but also, we live in a place where the only real violence to be seen is usually when the bars let out, and you'd have to be on the street at that time to have to worry about it. Where I grew up, I never felt safe, but that was because all of the violence there was ignored by the police and often encourage by locals, against anyone who was different.

We tend more to things like swords and knives, but I guess it's just a matter of what works for you. I had a rough childhood, and was often in dangerous situations when I was young, so I guess I'm a bit of a fighter. I faced down a man with a guy when I was empty-handed myself as a 15-year-old girl and wound up winning that confrontation, though at great cost to myself. Still, I am always determined to protect others whenever possible, and would not think twice to kill to keep my family safe.

No one can give guarantee for safety actually but I can do is always take precaution steps and alert on point of habitual weakness on me and my family in daily life. Thats all I can do. Mean keep minimizing the common occurrence of crimes. Beware before done. :::micheal:::

well my thought on this is that, everyday, we are not safe. this is an imperfect world. we are not safe from the water we drink, the food that we eat, the medicines we take, the materials that we feed our minds...then there are the perils of crimes around us. our only refuge is in God. and after we go to heaven, it is only then that we can really be perfectly safe. God bless you! :-D

oh i feel sorry for that! i think you brought a spray with you it is effective if it is spray through face, always check your spray and shake it, to know if it has still fill inside. and bring with you any thing that are hard like a stone inside your bag, you can use it to your enemy. just sway it on his head.

Its very safe. Nothing really happens. Sad part is I have weapons to use, some of them rather unusual but still deadly.

I am pretty safe I believe. I am normally at work, and our store isn't opened yet and we have lots of security surrounding it so no one gets in.

I honestly feel pretty safe where I live... I live in a very rural area and the crime rate is very, very low. I can't even imagine living in a big city and being afraid every time you go outside! I could never do it. I like knowing all my neighbors and knowing that they will watch my house when I go away and would be there for me if I needed them. Also, my kids know they can run to any of my neighbors houses and they'd take them in and help them if they needed anything... that says a lot.

We don't have a gaurantee of safety - anywhere! There is risk in everything we do, from the moment we get out of bed. And if we stay in bed, there is risk there, too! We just have to live our lives the best we can, be careful when we can be, and pray for the best. But if anyone tries to take anything of mine, I will fight back. I've read that most theives are looking for an easy target. Fighting or screaming will often scare them away. But then again, people do get killed everyday. I guess you never really know what you'll do until faced with a situation.

I know you will agree with me, there are safest place. If accident happen it will happen. But you still have to be very careful. Recently i was a victim of hold-up. I can elaborate the experience because I am still moving on. What I do is to pray everytime i go out on our house, pray for my safety and the safety of my lovedone.

You seem to be quite asthetic lady. You have great faith in God so you talk about the prayers. That is right too. However, I believe that one has to be alert everytime. As far as accidents are concerned, most of them occur due to carelessness. There even God wont help. Even for theft and robberies many a times we find that people had been careless and so the incident had taken place.

In this matter I am very fortunate. In our state (Gujarat-India) there is not much securiety problem. People live quite free life. We can move out without any fear of securiety. The biggest reason for this is perhaps, the social systems and the strict vigil of Police. This does not mean that we do not have any problems here. There are cases of robbery and murder and theft but they are very rare. Atleast a common man has no problem if he or she is little alert.
