Do any of you have a favorite tea for different seasons?

Heres the jist: Lemon tea I love in the summer. I find it cool, refreshing and great in ice teas. In the fall and winter I love mint tea for the crisp, sharp flavor it seems to give off, and the heady smell that radiates from every mug. When spring time rolls around I'm open to any sort of tea since it's usually rainy a lot where I live and the rain just makes me want to drink anything warm and comforting. What about you? Do you associate a certain type with a certain season?

Hi, In the winter, I enjoy ginger, cinnaman, and peppermint teas a great deal. In the summer I tend to avoid tea, as I hate iced tea. In the spring, it's definitely honey or chamomile. I've really never stopped to associate a tea with automn. Good teas for me year round are: lemon-anything, Earl Grey, and vanilla chai; my favorite tea without a doubt. Here's a lin`k to purchase my favorite brand of chai. http://www.amazon.com/Bigelow-Vanilla-Chai-20-Count-Boxes/dp/B000PDM2X0 You can get them cheaper at any grocery store near you, but it works in a pinch.

Cool seasons make me want heavier flavors, like English Breakfast tea, but I like a lot of different teas. I always seem to have a stash of about 15 - 20 different kinds. Iced tea, summer and winter, hot tea, summer and winter, too.

I like iced peppermint in the summer for its cooling feeling. I like orange spice teas in the colder months. I like hybiscus mint anytime. All iced since I live in Texas & drink iced teas year round. I do like Constant Comment hot in the winter, and I can drink that all the way to cold in the cup! I do drink less hot tea because I'm not working in an office anymore & anything I fix hot would probably be cold by the time I got to drink it. We'll see how this winter goes.

I adore Chai tea when the weather gets cooler. It's so comforting and warming and spicy. I like cinnamon and ginger type teas in the winter too. During the summer months I tend to prefer fruit teas like raspberry with echinacea. English breakfast tea I'll drink all year round! Can't start my day without it!

Hi and welcome to myLot. I am a tea lover and love to try all kinds of flavors. I don't think about certain teas at certain seasons too much, although it does make sense. I like iced tea in the summer, especially with lemon or fruit like raspberries. I have tried an egg-nog tea that Lipton put out one Christmas. I loved that, but I guess I was in the minority, because I saw it only one year. I like green tea with Chinese food, especially with jasmine. I like bold teas with other meals, oohlong, Earl Grey, etc., and regular orange pekoe for mornings.
