Ewwwwwwwww, it stinks like skunk

I just had to run around and shut all the windows because of skunk smell.
It's a shame because it's just starting to cool off and the breeze felt so good. If it doesn't go away soon, I'll have to turn the AC on to keep the house cool.
Arghhh, it's too late in the season to turn the AC on.
Doggone skunks!
At least it didn't spray our dog.

We do not have to worry unless we are on the road, and we just happen to run over a skunk. We have a couple of feral cats in our neighborhood and they take care of the skunk population. Anyway we usually keep the windows closed unless there is something burning in the oven or on the element and then we have to open them. Then we hear the traffic noises and the birds, and the dogs, and sometimes the odor of a skunk comes rafting over.

I love to open the windows so a skunk smell is really awful. We don't have that many skunks around here that I know of but we do have coyote or something like that. Little dogs and cats have been disappearing and some people have seen coyote or something running the fields nearby.

I knew I liked Australia for a reason LOL!
Seriously though, if you've ever smelled the worst rotten egg sulphur combination, that's what skunk smells like.
If it sprays you or your pet, the only thing that takes out the smell is repeated baths in tomato juice, everyday until the smell is gone.

Yeah it is a horrible smell. We had a skunk come through once and we had window fans is. So it was absolutely horrible! My dad said when he was younger he got sprayed by a skunk once. He said that it took days to get the smell out! I hope you get the smell out.

I heard you have to take baths in tomato juice for a week before the smell goes away.
What a yucky smell. Oh your poor dad, it must have been awful!
