Yes, I travel because I want to see other cultures, but not because I'm a writer. I like to see the difference between how I live and how others live. I like to see the different customs and what's important to any specific culture. I like to see what foods are eaten. And so on and so forth. None of this is for writing or any other job, it's for the experience and to learn.

I travel mostly to enjoy, to learn and appreciate the natural wonders of other places. Philippines is rich in culture, from languages that are different, from foods that is distinct to their place and the richness of their traditions. By travelling and learning others cultures, it makes me think that I am also a cultured person eager to learn and explore more than what I've thought about.

I like to travel to see other cultures, not to write about it (presently), but to learn about how other cultures live. I find it fascinating to broaden my horizons and gather information, whether I will ever use it again or not. I love to learn.

I love to see different cultures. When I was in Kenya it was wonderful to spend some time talking to the Masai Mara people. I liked seeing their red robes with the beautiful necklaces and bracelets that they had skillfully made. I enjoyed watching them making a fire and later on I liked seeing their traditional dance. I also liked seeing the culture of the people in Samoa. I liked the fales, traditional homes and even managed to stay in these on the gorgeous palm fringed beaches. I found an old Polynesian pyramid in the rain forest. I visited Robert Louis Stephenson's house and it was interesting to find out how he had adapted to life in the tropics and the home comforts he had wanted to hang on to like a fire place. I saw his tomb on top of mountain. Two Samoans told me well done for bothering to go up there.
