Homebody

I love to stay at home than going malls and be with friends. I'm a homebody person. But sometimes I felt so bored, why there are people like me on this world? I'm so comfortable when I'm at home, I can do whatever I want, sleep, eat, watch tv, but sometimes it's not happy. I'm alone. Are you a homebody person?

yeah, it is really comfortable to be staying at home and thus be able to do everything that we can think of without much hassles. this is especially true when we are all alone in the house and there is no one who will be approving or disapproving of anything that we get into, do or eat.

"I'm so comfortable when I'm at home, I can do whatever I want, sleep, eat, watch tv, but sometimes it's not happy" When was the last time you tried a new hobby? I find that when I get tired of my usual loner routine in life its just my way of telling me I need to try someting new...OR....goin back to a hobby that I used to love but for whatever reason gave up...For example, I used to write and draw ALOT when I was a teenager..Same with playing with my camera....but I for the most part gave up all three of those things for yrs until a couple yrs ago...I started writing again (about 3-4 yrs ago), started drawing again (3 yrs ago), took up painting for the first time almost 2 yrs ago, bought myself a new (and better) camera last yr and got more serious about photography...Last winter I tried working with Polymer Clay for the first time...and about 2 months ago I took up sewing again for the first time in 9 yrs..... Maybe its just that you need to mix things up in your life a little....I love being alone (as I mentioned in your other thread)..Change up your routine, try some new things....

Thanks for the advice. Maybe your right, I get bored because I do my ussual routines everyday, I have to try some new. It's been a long time, I mean, 4 years when the last time I draw. Drawing is my hobby, I also like writing poems, songs. It is really a years since the last time I do it. Your right I have to do it again. Thanks for that response, you make me realize those things. I'll mark this as the best response. Thanks.

it is true that there are many persons who prefer the comfort of home over anywhere else. i believe that most of us who loves to spend our free time doing mylot are homebuddies. just imagine someone who loves to stay alone and talking to no one but simply pounding on the computer for hours each day at the comfort of home or the quiet atmosphere of an internet cafe. yes, it may not be a happy atmosphere but it is definitely a comfortable one and that's what we enjoy having the most for ourselves. i wonder though why you say you feel bored this way. perhaps it is not really boredom that you feel. as of now, i cannot figure it out pretty well yet. there are times though when we long for the presence of a good partner - like a friend with whom we can open up almost anything about.

I agree to what you have said. It is possible that mylotters are homebuddies. I felt bored at home because i don't have my own pc to access. I only have a few friends to talk, most of them had settled down and busy with their own life. Honestly I really felt bored when I have no money, hehehe, I can't go to internet cafe to enjoy. Well that's life. I have to earn much so that I must not be bored. Thanks for your response again.
