woohoo!!!
after today's update, my star rating has gone up from 8 to 9!
but i also noticed that my mylot reputation is the same. it was 85 before and it is still 85 right now. so how do they give you the star rating? does it not depend on the mylot reputation?

You're still in-between 8 and 9, this rating of your's is still subjected to change. To raise them up, you have to continue to post "quality" discussions and avoid posts that can be deleted because of violating the guidelines..
Which means, you still need more postivie ratings from other posters, for you to stay on the 9-star reputation.
Other than that, I congratulate you and hope you enjoy more time posting here.

Hi there buddy, what's been up to lately?
Well, i'll tell you mine here.
Do you see my #9 Star Rating here?
It seems that it's been stuck with me for almost 3months now and still the same and not changing even i am having lots of good feedbacks and many best responses.
I made a discussion as well regarding on my concern with the Star thing.
And i think, one of my friends that responded on my discussion is right.
She said that this Star Rating thing is just a Computer Thing my dear.

thanks for replying to my topic vash.
i v got to know that star rating depends upon ur my lot reputation which goes up or down when other mylot users rate your discussions with a positive or a negative rating. it does not depend upon how many replies you get or how many best answers you have but only on the + and - ratings that the users give you.
and by the way dude, your star is not a 9, maybe it was, but it has dropper to number 8 now. anyways here's another thing, star rating doesnt affect your earnings :) so don't worry. keep posting and just enjoy yourself.
