I found this in my email today. I am at the moment listening to some awesome music. Thought that I would share with you all. Have fun and enjoy the free sounds.
This is definitely one to put in your "Favorites" folder.
When you click on the site below, it will take you to a jukebox with different years listed. Click on the year you want to hear. When the music starts, you can move the curser in the playback down and see all the songs associated with that year.
If you love music, this site is for you. Pick the year and enjoy all the hits. You can let it play through the entire list of that year or highlighting a particular song will play it instantaneously.

Wpw, the songs I heard starting when I was a preteen! These do bring back memories. I am going to bookmark them and listen to them when I get back home! Too bad, I could not afford to buy the records then, but now they are for anyone to listen to!

I have been jumping around to different years. I am now listening ot 1967, The Buckinghams - Don't you Care. Love this stuff.

oh thanks my dear for this wonderful suggestion. you see, I am a music addicted and I can't live without music so I am always happy to find something new..I am having a look and a ear at it right now while writing..there are lots of old songs and I like travelling through years..it is part of our history and culture and there is always so much to learn..and learning about music is such a joy, too..so thanks again and good listening to you and eveybody else!!!

Wow thanks for this...I was so happy to find out that in the year I was born, 1955, that some of my all time oldie favorites were in that year, like Unchained Melody, Rock Around The Clock and Only You...real classics!!

Oh this is wonderful !!!! You have no idea how much I appreciate this. Long story but due to a recent computer crash I lost tons (about 4000) pieces of music that I had accumulated. Trying to go back and think of all the ones I had (Mostly oldies) has been a huge chore. So this site is going to get a lot of action from me. I saved the link and thanks for sharing it with us. Love those Oldies.....

I just happen to love this site, Elusive. It was brought to my attention last year via a daily email that I subscribe to. It's great that you can go there and listen to songs from any era that you choose. I must admit that the fact it is free goes down very well, lol. It is difficult to find anything free on the internet with no strings attached. I get lots of tips on free sites through the newsletter. If you are interested you can sign up for it at www.worldstart.com. They have several newsletters and are very trustworthy. I also use their forum when I am having problems with my pc or just want to pass some time.

Ohh so true!! www.worldstart.com is a very good and trustworthy site. It is very informative on a lot of computer stuff, updates, links to the new and improved things that are on the net. Enjoy the newsletters, they are worth it.
