Do you have alot of spices? What spice do you use the most often and in what kind of dish? We use alot of Garlic seasoning and black pepper in meat dishes and try to use fresh herbs when possible. What about you?

I love cooking with lots of spices. So I have a lot of spices in my spice cabinet. The spice I cook with the most is garlic. Although I like using fresh garlic more. But I'll use garlic salt when I'm in a hurry. Another spice I really like is lemon pepper. It's so yummy especially with chicken and fish.

Most Indian houses have cabinets full of spices and mine is no exception. We usually use turmeric, chilly and coriander powder for most of our dishes and add five-spice as seasoning. Other than these, we will used whole red chillies, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, asefoetida, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom etc as per the requirement of the dish. We also use ginger-garlic and onion paste in our non-veg dishes to spice it up.

As you say without garlic and pepper meat wont be in good taste not only taste it is good for health also . Upto me if non veg items i use to mix with only chillies powder and indian garam masala only . Because the garam masala is an flavour only for tongue taste. The best spice for nonveg is garlic and pepper also it is good for lung decongestor and stomach problem solver. Also garlic is an gas remover from our body.

I don't think I use lot of spices but now that you ask...well I love cooking and in the traditional Mediterranean cooking that we have in the south of Italy we are used to adding garlic or onion or basil or parsley or mint..sometimes pepper..green or dark or even pink and what else?? oh well sometimes you can add thyme or chillies and origanum..the best thing is to use all these ingredients fresh and accordingly to season....this is the best way to add perfume and good taste to your dishes!!!

MMMMM i love spices. I probably use Canadian steak seasoning the most. I use on almost every meat I cook. I also use pepper,cinnamon,nutmeg,basil,oregano,and salt. I use mainly fresh garlic. My favorite herb to use is fresh cilantro i love it's flavor.

We have a lot of spices and things in our spice cabinet. We buy a lot of things when they're on sale, and we buy multiples of things that we use the most. We tend to use black pepper, paprika, garlic salt, and salt the most.

I have oregano,minced onion,curry powder, celery salt, cumin, chili powder, cayenne pepper, nutmeg,garlic salt, garlic powder,thyme, herbs de provence, chinese 5 spice,sage, and ground mustard. I use about half of these all the time. Some of them just once in awhile. And I am sure there are some that I forgot to list. I don't have a favorite one. I love the smell of fresh garlic and onion cooking.

Hi there. We use and store alot of different herbs and spices, but we store our herbs and spices in different plastic containers, still in there little boxes so we can see what we're grabbing out...

Hello blackbay, I have lots of herbs and spices, and use a lot of them. I like to use lemon pepper on seafood, gumbo file in my gumbos, chili peppers and chili powder in my chilis, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, cumin, oregano and black pepper in meats. I like to use parsley, cilantro, basil leaves, dill weed, fennel, thyme leaves, marjoram, coriander, anise seeds, cinnamon, nutmeg, pumpkin spice, cloves, ginger, and vanilla beans. I do quite a bit of baking, and love the aroma around the kitchen. Happy posting..

yes ,we have so many spices in our dishes ,but not have papper,we put the spices in the meet ,fish ,and so many dishes that we want to put spices.
