Do you grind your teeth at night

I have a night guard because I grind my teeth at night. I actually grind my teeth all the time and should be wearing the guard "as needed" (like all the time !!!!) but when I put it on at night, I can't stand it and end up taking it out in my sleep.
I have a hard time taking it out when I'm awake but apparently it's a breeze to remove while I'm sleeping!
One time I found it at the foot of the bed.
I hate wearing it.
Anyone else grind their teeth and wear a night guard?

I'm sure it's annoying to hear.
Luckily I'e never heard myself so I can deny it's even me doing it LOL!

I use to grind my teeth at night when I was younger, but I eventually stopped. However, over the last couple of months I've started grinding them again. I've never worn a night guard though. It doesn't bother me at all (although sometimes I wake up and my jaw is a little sore) - but whoever is around me has to put up with loud grinding noises.
Is it related to stress? I'm not sure why I've started up again.

I'm sure during the day it's stress related but at night when I'm resting, I shouldn't be stressed at all, right? I sleep talk and toss and turn so it's possible that day stress is lingering.

As much as I hate it when I'm awake, I must hate it even more when I'm sleeping because I actually take it out and toss it wherever.
It's not very appealing to put back in your mouth when you've had feet rubbing up on it half the night - no matter how much you wash it LOL!

The doctor's solution was the guard.
I tried yoga thinking it would relax me but it's much harder than it looks and twisting wasn't my forte.
