To all couples here. Do you call your partners by first name basis or do you have a "word of endearment" to address each other? If you are upset, annoyed or mad with them, do you still manage to use the word of endearment during the course of arguement? Hope you guys won't mind, I just wanna know. In our case, we are using a word of endearment to address each other and we are trying our best to stick with it no matter what our mood is.

I call my husband by his first name and by several different words of endearment. It seems that as time goes by, I have more and more words of endearment that I use to address him, but still one main one. Even if he and I are having a disagreement with each other, we still use the same names for eachother as always. We don't have any angry or serious names to address eachother with. If someone needs to talk about something serious, we just say it, we don't use a different name to let that feeling be know to the other.

You guys are right by not calling each other "serious names" when you are angry because it will just flame up the situation. Just like you, we manage calling each other the same way even if we are debating on a certain issue. We each other "baby".

Oh, how sweet! I commend both of you for staying calm and still manage to call each other "habibi" even in an arguement. I have been to slight disagreement too & I know it's not easy to be civil to our partner especially if both want to win his/her thought.

I used to call my ex-bf 'cococrunch'. History: Im fond of eating cereals at breakfast. And since my ex was always away, I decided to call him by a name I'll never forget..so, 'cococrunch' was conceived. *smile*

You've got a unique but very sweet way of calling your ex. As for me, I called my ex "bro" and he called me using the same pet name that's why people who heard us will just thought we were brother and sister. *wink*
