how many glasses of water do your drink per day and why

i drink only 3 glasses of water.how much should u be drinking actually per day?please let me know.why?

ironically one shud be drinking 8 glasses of water bt i end up drinking only 4-5 glasses in the day.... u shud replace ur present intake of beverages by glass of water... n the best is to have hot water u can start ur day with a glass of water immediate after u get up from bed...n drink a glass of water b4 goin to bed....during the day keep the bottle of water infron of u so tht u can sipping it this will also reduce ur hunger n will keep u healthy...n ur skin will glow as well

Hi ssf12ster, according to many medics we should be drinking 2 litters of water dayly which is 10 glasses more or less. Personally I drink up to 1 liter a day, and maybe 2 liters of coffee ;) which of course is not that good and definitely not for everyone. I was drtinking 2 to 3 liters of water when i was on a diet to clean up my system, but I feel this was too much for me. It is different, and I believe that for each and everyone of us depends how much is the right amount of glasses water per day TheFortunes

I drink very less as well. Ideally it should be 2-3 litres per day but i can hardly manage 3-4 glasses!! Everyday, I think of drinking more but in vain. I think, I should drink more. It's very important, specially for females. they are more prone to UTI and stones. smiles...

The first thing I do when I wake up in the morning is to drink at least two glasses of cold water. After doing some massaging on my stomach I then take another half glass of water again. When I come back from the morning jogging, I usually take a glass or more of water to quench my thirst after sweating a lot. Not include other beverage I think I take about 2 liters of water per day. Drink more water could help us to excrete the metabolic waste products of our body.

we should be drinking at least 8 glasses a day. enough water helps to balance our system, from digestion to secretion. and it keeps us healthy and helps us avoid some illness and diseases. i try to drink 8 glasses a day but sometimes, when im busy, i get to drink less. ^__^;;

hi...i drink lots and lots of water, not including the tea and soda that i drink with it. My country is a tropical one and it is rather hot here... i love cold water, juices, teas, etc. i believe it cleanses the system and lowers down body temperature... how about you? you are from a cold region, that you don't need that much water like me? :-)

I think that I can drink at least four glasses of water each day. I drink water to protect my throat in class as I have to do a lot of speaking in class. It is a very good way to drink water for the protection of my throat than any other medication. But most time I love to drink tea for some flavour instead of just drinking plain water.

I aim to drink about 4 pints of water a day....although I rarely manage this. Sometimes I drink drinks other than water to make up my tally. Usually I drink when I am thirsty or bored.

I don't drink any water. Bad I know, but I just never do. My kids deink it though, so my bad habit has not rubbed off on them.

4-5 glasses, I drink when I'm eating or just whenever I am reminded of my 8-glasses-per-day rule. Brb, I'd have to drink first, thanks...
