When was the last time you baked something? What was it? Did it turn out good?
I made banana bread on Saturday. I made it without nuts, so my baby could have some. She LOVED it! My son also loved it and had like 3 pieces hot from the oven. Last week I made Raspberry Lemon Muffins. They turned out pretty good.

Gosh the last time I baked was just a couple of weeks ago when school started. The first day of school I baked Chocolate chip cookies for the kids so they would have a nice warm snack when they got home from school. They turned out really good and now the kids have been bugging me to make more.

LO, I am not a baker but this week-end I made a Pecan Swirl Bread! It was pretty good, if I do say so myself! I was having some company and had nothing for them so I baked this bread that I had in the cabinet, lol. Everyone loved it!!!! Raspberry Muffins sound wonderful!!

I made chocolate cupcakes for the grandkids last week. Today I want to make a pineapple upside-down cake for my self! It is wonderful when it is still warm out of the oven.

It has been a while since I have baked anything. I don't find I bake much in the summer as it heats up the house so much. Once it started cooling off here I was very sick and didn't feel up to it. But I have been feeling better the last couple days and have been totally craving a homemade apple pie. So I plan today to go get all the stuff to make it. Yummy! LOL Vicki

If I had saw this discussion later this afternoon, it would have been right now. I am planning on making applesauce cake for the feast this weekend, but this was also the last thing I made too, about 3-4 weeks ago. I actually made 2 different recipes and one my kids and I love and the other one my husband liked better. So I guess they both turned out good, just a matter of preference.
