First day at school!!!

I am grandma from Croatia,I am a mother of 5 girls and i have 2 grandsons,Older Goran age 8 and younger Zvonimir age 7!!last year goran start first class of primary school,and this year Zvonimir start!!I was so waring for his first day at school!!He was not at little school or kindergarten!He spend all his free time with me at my home or in park with some other children!!But I was surprise!!He is in Love with school!!Now is a different than in My time!!I still remember my first day at school!!My teacher was older and I afraid her!!

When our children have to experience new things it can be scary for them and for us. we never know who to worry about the most. Some childen are very happy to get to go to school aome are very fearful. when my oldest stared school he would cry when I had to leave him there. I finely had to have him walk with a neighbor boy for a while. Then he was ok. When my youngest went to school she was in the 2ed grade before she ever had to go to school by her self. She always had her older brothers and sis going to school too. One day the older ones were sick and had to stay home. I had to take her to school or she wouldn't go.

Hi aaidjs, I am a grandma of two boys. They are both in school. The youngest is 3 and he is in pre-school and the oldest is 5 and he is in Kindergarten..They both love it very much..I am glad that your grandsons are liking school. It is a big adjustment but once they go I think everything turns out fine.
