Compulsive Liars and Rats

I guess some people think they can "get in good with the boss" by reporting things that go on with the employees. I'm a believer of what is told to me in confidence...needs to remain in confidence!

I used to have a friend like this. He would blatently lie about everything and embellish stories so much they didnt even resemble the truth anymore. I think the worst was that he always drew in those around him in his stories. After a short time of knowing him it didnt matter within the friends settings, but when meeting strangers it fast became a nuissance. He was well liked though, as he was always very chatty and fun to be around, but lost touch with him a few years ago as I moved away.

I think the attitude to "look out for #1" has created the liar/rat syndrome that is everywhere now a days in the work place. If these people spent more time on doing their jobs well instead of trying to screw over a fellow worker, people would be alot happier with their jobs. In every work place there is the whinner,liar,backstabber,rat,butt kisser that thinks that is the way to get to the top. I you do your job well and feel you put in 8 hour work for 8 hours pay then you should feel proud of your self. The others usually have a hard time looking at themselves in the mirror and their behaviour usually back-fires sometime down the road.

it is okay to be a rat ,coz there are so many times for you don't want to let others know the truth,that is a true lie,but you cannot theat others just for your impromotion
