hmmm....i have been selling and buying in ebay for a year already. those times taught me many things. ive realized and become aware that majority of sellers in ebay particularly in philippines are SNOBBISH or in tagalog "MAARTE" they also seem to be in a hurry to provide negative feedback to buyers. i havent experienced given a negative feedback though but i cant help but question why they have to be so mean to people? is this what doing business in ebay means... MAJORITY here.... as in almost all.... thats my observation

I have been selling and buying on Ebay since 2003 and I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. I've only bought and sold through the U.S. and Canada but never have had a problem except for once. A lady bid on one of my items and then three weeks later changed her mind and didn't want it. That was the only problem I've ever encountered.......and I do have 100% positive feedback. Sorry to hear about all your troubles.

thank you for ur concern. yes i sell and buy in ebay as well and have 100 percent reputation. however, my only problem in there is dealing with unpleasant sellers and buyers. i may understand the fact that sellers do this in an effort to maintain civility and professionality, however there are some people who do it too much bein too civil makes a person gives an impression of UNFRIENDLY. :( thats why as seller myself, i always try to accomodate buyers and make them feel at ease in dealing with me =) thanks for the comment

I'm very glad to hear you are a good dealer with great feedback.....it's important to accomodate your buyers and make them feel comfortable.....we need more people like you on Ebay to make it a great experience. Forget the crabby one's, just don't deal with them again, it's their loss. Good Luck to you and keep up the good work!

In every walk of life you will always find people like this, not just on eBay or any of the hundreds of other sites around the world. I have found the majority of my customers to be perfectly nice and have enjoyed hundreds of trouble-free transactions on eBay.

I've had only good luck with eBay thus far, though I do know that the system on the whole is definitely flawed. I don't use it too often, but sometimes it is the best way to get something that you want! :)

i sooo agree...their system is indeed flawed. i find it a hassle to constantly relist unsold items..lolz =))hope they make it user-friendly in the future

I've had about 150 transactions on Ebay, and found 90% of them to be pleasant. I think it pays to be cautious about who you purchase from in the first place. Check out their feedback, that's why it is there. I also look for a friendly tone in the auction wording itself. Sometimes you can see a grumpy seller from a mile away and I tend to run in the other direction.

nice and a very good advice. i do the same. i judge sellers reputation basing on their feedbacks. however there are times wherein i cant tell their manners at all..maybe i juz caught them at a bad time which is why they are unpleasant. eitherway, if i find a seller likable, i always go back to that person and buy. ^_^ thanks for sharing and for the comment
