Is it possible to set a chip in a child's brain to make him more intelligent and

I have heard lots of research works are going on in this field. By 2020, it will be successful, is that true? Any information on the subject?

Oh man, I haven't heard anything about that but it sounds like 1984. Big Brother is watching! lol I don't think it would be the greatest idea. I think we should be able to use our brains as they were intended, not count on technology to move things along.

You know, the way science is progressing, sometimes I feel, are we also working computers created by some other more intelligent people? Nowadays, computers can design new computers, like animals can give birth to offsprings. Where are we going really?
